Eugene – have you changed your system-wide fonts? They look different or it might just be the YouTube quality. But if you have, can you tell me how ? :)

I swear there was a simple way to do this through the Terminal without installing anything?

Aah I remember this app, I loved it. Only thing that kept me from using it was that it’s a bit choppy when using exposé. The desktop image doesn’t bother me, just the framerate of exposé.

The application Tinkertool allows you to change fonts and a lot more.

It’s a power tool. It lets you tweak a ton of OS X settings.

    F3 shortcuts straight to it.
At least it does on the ones in the Apple store… I don’t actually have my own yet haha but it’s on my list!

One of the great things about macs is that they can DO this and it does little, if anything, to performance. If this was on a PC it would have a horrible frame rate and all other applications would suffer. Unless you have 4g of RAM and at least a dual core proccessor.

Yes. I know it’s been a while since you posted this question but here is an exact answer that Eugene posted 2 weeks ago. Search “True Maximized Windows in OS X” and you should find it.
