the desktop is an active program being run at startup so
Start>Run…> and type “msconfig”
this will open the system configuration utility, check the startup tab for for your problem app
You can also check the services tab
You can uncheck the unwanted crapware or u can look up its location there and actualy delete it, either way it won’t run at startup.

Control Panel click Display > Desktop > Customize desktop > Website > remove or uncheck anything you see here in this block
