Uninstall the program or try to open its options maybe. If you already tried that then... the desktop is an active program being run at startup so Start>Run...> and type "msconfig" this will open the system configuration utility, check the startup tab for for your problem app You can also check the services tab You can uncheck the unwanted crapware or u can look up its location there and actualy delete it, either way it won't run at startup. Assumption – Ur using WinXP, otherwise this may be different.
