Darker and bolder colors make space look smaller. And that is a bad idea if you already have a small room. If you want to change the color of your room, stick to a neutral so that any new bedding/furnature/decorations will match and you wouldn’t have to do anything drastic.
If your decorations are red/black/white, it is an even worse idea to paint or get a paper for your wall in any of those colors because there would be no contrast.

Red is such a strong color it is best used in small doses. Maybe one wall in red, two in light grey, and one in white would be good.

First of all, my boyfriend says Scarface is “such an overrated movie. ” You might want to consider this.
Secondly, red will make a small room look very dark. Light gray would probably go with your red, black, and white stuff, and you could have red accents–maybe a red bed spread, and red frames, etc.

I agree with the others – not red! Have red curtains instead, and perhaps a red lampshade.
