i think red goes beautifully with black and white.

but also, one black wall (the wall with the window on it)
and then all the rest white.
believe me, it would look nice!
aqua and teal would also look stunning!

You could go with a soft yellow or a pale lavender color. Sounds like you are going to have a nice room. Good luck and have fun.
